About the Italian language
Italian language is a Romance language spoken by around 90 million people. It is an official language of Italy, Switzerland, San Marino and the Vatican City. It is also a recognized minority language in Slovenia and Croatia. As many Italians have migrated overseas, there are large Italian speaking communities in countries outside of Europe, especially Argentina, Brazil and the United States.
