Spanish vocabulary game for beginners

Game with audio (for hearing the pronunciation) | game - text without audio (for studying in a quiet space)

Spanish vocabulary list that contains common everyday words and fun Spanish game for kids and language learners of all ages and educational backgrounds. In this Spanish game, you will be given a word (noun) that you will need to match to one of the three images. While acquiring Spanish vocabulary it is essential to also learn the gender of the nouns, and in this Spanish game you should pay attention to the definite article that comes with all of the nouns. Most nouns in Spanish follow the rule that if they end in -o they are masculine and if they end in -a they are feminine. The definite article for ‘the’ in Spanish is 'el' if the noun is masculine, and 'la' if the noun is feminine. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. For example, ‘el día’ = ‘the day’, ‘el clima’ = ‘the climate’, ‘la radio’ = ‘the radio’ etc. It is a good idea to take note of exceptions as you come across them. If you find this vocabulary a little too advanced for your current level you could try the more basic Spanish vocabulary game 1.

Spanish game with 17 essential nouns that are commonly used in everyday Spanish language. Study the words, both in written form and as provided in sound format, and choose to play either the audio game or the Spanish game with just the words (silent).
